It was best known for the reversed topsides of the hull. The overall length of this boat stands at 30 ft 8 in. The length at waterline is at 24 ft 6 in. The beam has a measurement of 9 ft 7 in. The Vindo 40 has a maximum draft of 4 ft 5 in. The displacement of this vessel is 4600 kg. It has a ballast of 1900 kg. The rig type is a masthead sloop. For engines the original model used a Volvo Penta diesel, model MD2B<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Vindo 40 can accommodate up to five people in two cabins. There is an opening hatch to foredeck. <span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">The Vindo 40 is an iconic boat with pleasing lines and excellent seakeeping abilities.
