Modern Battleships & Navy Ships
Custom naval models covering aircraft carriers, destroyers, frigates, submarines, patrol craft and auxiliaries. Built to order with the correct pennant number, sensor fit and weapons layout for the ship and period you specify.
Warships change through their service lives. Radars are replaced, weapons upgraded, boat and aircraft complements altered, and pennant numbers moved between hulls. Before building we confirm which ship, which commission and which date the model should represent.
Getting the fit right
Once the date is agreed we work from official drawings, published references and photographs to match the fit as it stood, including radar and electronic warfare arrays, launchers and gun mounts, boats and davits, flight deck markings, and the ship’s crest, pennant number and draught marks in their correct positions.
Construction
Railings, ladders, aerials, radar arrays and sensor masts are photo etched or 3D printed so they read as thin rather than moulded. Hull, superstructure and flight deck are built in timber and composite and finished in the correct grey with deck contrast.
Presentation pieces
Commonly ordered for a ship someone served on, for a leaving or long service presentation, or for a mess or association display. Engraved plates, unit crests and multi ship sets to a common scale can all be arranged. Where a ceremony date is fixed, raise it at enquiry stage.
Other options
Stock warships are in ready made naval models and kits in warship kits. To commission a specific ship, send us her name and period.
