Our chosen delivery partners are Royal Mail for UK orders, together with FedEx and UPS for worldwide deliveries. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information by email, including your consignment number where applicable. <\/p>

All deliveries are carried out in accordance with the terms and conditions of the relevant courier. To help protect both you and Premier Ship Models in the unlikely event of damage during transit, we recommend following the guidance below. <\/p>

Please inspect your delivery for any visible damage on arrival. If damage is identified, this should be reported to the driver and clearly noted when signing for the delivery. If you are unable to fully unpack and inspect the item before the driver leaves, we recommend marking the delivery as \u201cunchecked\u201d<\/strong>. <\/p>

Delivery lead times are confirmed at the point of order and vary depending on the type of product purchased.<\/p>

Most model kits can be delivered within approximately 10\u201314 days, and often sooner where the item is already held in stock.<\/p>

Lead times for ready-made assembled models can vary considerably. While some models are available from stock, many are individually handcrafted in our workshop or by one of our carefully selected manufacturing partners. Depending on the model, time of year and current production schedule, manufacture can take 12 weeks or longer. <\/p>

For ready-made models that are manufactured to order, we will usually request a 50% deposit, followed by a 30% payment during production, with the remaining balance payable prior to delivery. For further information, please review our Terms & Conditions<\/a>. <\/p>

Example 1.<\/strong><\/p>

Some of our standard range models are packed in a cardboard box that is then bubble wrapped. A lot of standard range models, specifically those manufactured by Authentic Models, are flat packed to reduce the box size and save on delivery costs. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Example 2.<\/strong><\/p>

Our superior and premier range models are fixed in to a wooden crate that then has polystyrene on the top and bottom and finally bubble wrap. The crate is designed to be easily able to slide the model out once it arrives with the customer. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Example 3.<\/strong><\/p>

Other standard range models, normally the tankers and tall ships, are packed in a cardboard box and then bubble wrapped. The ships are also assembled in to a wooden frame to stop them from moving and have additional packaging such as polystyrene inside to protect the model. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

All custom models have bespoke crates built for them made from a thick plywood. There is additional packaging (polystyrene and bubble wrap) on the inside and outside of the crate. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
