Le kit de bateau en bois HMS Fly propos\u00e9 par Premier Ship Models est l’un de nos mod\u00e8les \u00e0 monter de la gamme Amati, un fabricant italien avec une longue histoire de fabrication de maquettes de haute qualit\u00e9. Ce mod\u00e8le plaira aux amateurs ainsi qu’\u00e0 toute personne qui admire les comp\u00e9tences de mod\u00e9lisation pr\u00e9cise. L’un des objectifs d’Amati concernant le mod\u00e9lisme est de se concentrer sur l’exactitude, qui souhaite que leur mod\u00e8les soit la r\u00e9plique du navire en miniature.<\/p>\n

Les plans de construction sont pr\u00e9cis et les instructions d\u00e9taill\u00e9es sont fournies avec le mod\u00e8le. Le HMS Fly a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 en 1831 et son but \u00e9tait d’explorer la c\u00f4te nord de l’Australie et les \u00eeles voisines sous le pavillon de la Marine royale. La longueur du navire \u00e9tait de plus de 114 pieds, avec un faisceau dominant sur une hauteur de plus de 31 pieds et une profondeur de maintien \u00e9tant de plus de 14 pieds. Le HMS Fly \u00e9tait \u00e9galement \u00e9quip\u00e9 de seize caronades et une paire de chasseurs d’arc.<\/p>\n

Le HMS Fly avait initialement servi l’Am\u00e9rique du Nord et les Antilles \u00a0\u00e0 partir de janvier 1832 sous le commandement de Peter M’Quhae jusqu’\u00e0 son retour \u00e0 Plymouth en septembre 1833. Au cours de 1840, l’HMS Fly a explor\u00e9 diff\u00e9rents endroits de l’Australie jusqu’\u00e0 son retour en Grande-Bretagne en juin 1846. Apr\u00e8s plusieurs ann\u00e9es, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise en place comme une carcasse de charbon \u00e0 Devonport en 1855 et a \u00e9t\u00e9 renomm\u00e9e en C2 et C70 et finalement d\u00e9truite en 1903.<\/p>\n
