Son principal objectif \u00e9tait de produire des r\u00e9pliques de navire \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle r\u00e9elle, en accordant une attention \u00e0 la qualit\u00e9, la finesse des d\u00e9tails et de l&rsquo;authenticit\u00e9 globale de son produit. Elle \u00a0utilise les derni\u00e8res technologies CAD \/ CAM et de prototypage rapide qui assure l&rsquo;exactitude de tout le contenu du kit\u00a0; pi\u00e8ces moul\u00e9es en m\u00e9tal pour CNC, composants en bois, extrusions m\u00e9talliques aux raccords grav\u00e9 en laiton.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Histoirique\u00a0du produit:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le r\u00e8gne du roi Georges III n\u0092a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 paisible. Il a d\u00fb faire face \u00e0 la gestion de la d\u00e9fense de la Grande-Bretagne lors de la guerre de l\u0092ind\u00e9pendance am\u00e9ricaine, la guerre de sept ans et les conqu\u00eates napol\u00e9oniennes. De ce fait, Georges III avait d\u00fbment charg\u00e9 l\u0092empire britannique d\u0092acheter des navires de guerre suppl\u00e9mentaires. Le HMS Badger \u00e9tait l\u0092un d\u0092entre eux, et participa au premier combat pendant la guerre de l\u0092ind\u00e9pendance am\u00e9ricaine.<\/p>\n<p>Le HMS Badger \u00e9tait \u00e0 l\u0092origine un vaisseau marchand am\u00e9ricain, achet\u00e9 en Jama\u00efque par les britanniques pour une valeur de 1540\u00a3. Il fut ensuite plac\u00e9 en Am\u00e9rique du Nord et dans les Antilles, une fois que la guerre avait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9clar\u00e9e. Il \u00e9tait dot\u00e9 de 12 canons. Lors de son s\u00e9jour en Am\u00e9rique du Nord et aux Antilles, le commandant ordonna \u00e0 un jeune lieutenant, nomm\u00e9 Horatio Nelson, de diriger le HMS Badger.<\/p>\n<p>Ceci fait de ce navire le premier \u00e0 avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 command\u00e9 par le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Lord Nelson, qui plus tard dirigea la victoire britannique de la bataille de Trafalgar \u00e0 bord du HMS Victory. Cette connexion entre le navire et le commandant est ce qui a fait du HMS Badger un navire de renom chez les historiens.<\/p>\n<p><strong>D\u00e9tails du kit<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dans ce kit de construction, vous retrouverez toutes les pi\u00e8ces n\u00e9cessaires pour construire une r\u00e9plique pr\u00e9cise du HMS Badger. Le kit dispose d\u0092une construction en double planche sur ch\u00e2ssis pour les cloisons et est fabriqu\u00e9 sur une \u00e9chelle de 1\/64. Caldercraft utilise des plans r\u00e9els de navires et la toute derni\u00e8re technologie disponible pour produire des maquettes de navires tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cises et minutieusement d\u00e9taill\u00e9es. Le pont dispose d\u0092une finition en bande de Tanganyika et le plancher et fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 partir d\u0092un m\u00e9lange de chaux et de noyer.
