Cason J. Callaway <\/strong><\/p>\n

Cason J. Callaway construit par Great Lakes Engineering Works de River Rouge, dans le Michigan. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 baptis\u00e9e et lanc\u00e9e sous le nom de Cason J. Callaway en 1952. Les ports de d\u00e9chargement habituels du Callaway \u00e9taient Gary, Indiana, et Conneaut, Ohio . En 1955, le Cason J. Callaway est impliqu\u00e9 dans une collision frontale avec le B.F. Jones. Les deux navires ont subi de lourds dommages et le Jones a \u00e9t\u00e9 retir\u00e9 du service apr\u00e8s l’incident. \u00c0 partir de 1962, le Callaway a \u00e9t\u00e9 transport\u00e9 du minerai des m ines du Labrador aux aci\u00e9ries am\u00e9ricaines sur les lacs.
